Old racing videos

Besides going to the actual track and purchasing, is there another method of viewing, perhaps even buying DVD's of old races? Do the races need to be stakes races or would allowances and claimings be available as well?

Some racetracks don't archive races very far back. You can try buying them from TVG or HRTV (or other networks that cover racing).

TVG has replays available for $40 per race.

To obtain TVG archives, we ask that you send us a formal letter requesting the name of track, date and race number, along with a check addressed to TVG for $40, to this address:

TVG
19545 NW Von Neumann Dr., Ste 210
Beaverton OR 97006
Attn: Video Replays

Please specify a contact phone number (and e-mail, if applicable) where we may reach you, if we have a question about your order.

I was hoping that wouldn't be the reply, but I can't say I didn't expect it. Thank you.

I bought a video from Woodbine a couple years back, but now I want the DVD of it. $40 is pretty pricey, even though its what I had paid for this VHS copy. But I was interesting in purchasing other races as well.
