I'm trying to find pedigree information on a TB mare. Her name according to the records I've seen is Deja Vu, though her barn name is Lamby. She's a bay with no markings. I believe she was foaled around 1981 or 1982.
I think she was once around the Texas area if I remember correctly. She showed hunters, but that was probably 16 years ago now.
She was donated to Averett University in Danville, VA about 15 years ago. While there she was bred to the Danish Oldenburg stallion Aslan. I know of at least two foals she had, though I believe there may be one or two others.
Anyway, I'm curious because I recently came in to contact with the owner of one of Lamby's daughters. The owner is trying to get her mare in to the main Danish Oldenburg breeding book and she can't do it without a five generation pedigree on both sides and she hasn't been able to find out anything about Lamby. I know we would have to track down the original papers, but I thought just finding out her pedigree would be a place to start.
Just thought I would take a long shot and ask.
Deja Vu

The only mares I could find registered as 'Deja Vu' that come close to fitting that age range were both chestnuts.
There's a 1978 dark bay mare name 'Deja Vue', who was unraced and bred in New Jersey....that's all the info I could find about her.
It's possible that 'Deja Vu' was a show name, and that her Jockey Club registered name was different....also possible that she was foaled and registered in another country, but it's hard to say for sure. Was the mare tattooed?

No tattoo that I know of. I emailed the barn owner at Averett to double check.
I guess it is possible that Deja Vu isn't her registered name, if she was registered at all, but that would make my search significantly more difficult.
Thanks for all your help.
