RICH MIXTURE, Chestnut colt, 1943 (*Blenheim II - Risque Reigh x Reigh Count).

I'm trying to find out where this stallion was standing in the early 1950's. It had to be in Southern California...He may have been at Frank Vessels old ranch.

My old stallion registers prior to 1966 are packed away and unable to get to them. I do know that in 1966 he was standing at the Rex Ranch, Imperial Beach, CA.

One of his 1955 foals, FAIR TWO was bred by Frank C. Irvine on Normandie Ave. in Gardena, Ca.

My only register from that era is for the 1953 season, and shows him standing at Irvine Ranch in Gardena.

Thanks Lucy! I had found some of his daughters from 1951 thru 1955 who were bred by Frank C. Irvine, Gardena, Ca. and figured Ivine had him.

I'm wondering which Stallion Register was he in?

Lucy, also wonder if a stud fee was listed? He stood for $150. in 1966/1967. Thanks, Pat

It was in the Thoroughbred Record Annual Statistical Review of 1952, which also contains a stallion register.

His fee was listed as private.
