Pathfinder--1864 model by Thormanby

According to the extra information, this stallion was exported to Germany in 1875 and used for breeding at Celle by the Hanoverians.

In 1875 a horse named Pathfinder won the GN at Aintree. Same horse? It would be very unusual for an entire to have run at Aintree, but there is nothing on the GN horse in the database if the Celle horse was not he.

Not the same horse. :)

While I was unable to find the pedigree of the GN-winning Pathfinder, I did find out that he was eight years old when he won. That would make him a foal of 1867, while the Pathfinder sent to Germany was an 1864 model.
