Another verification or clarification, please.
In my Krik's Guide the sire progeny lists list MOSS ROSE (1875, out of LIZZIE WRIGHT) as sired by SHARPCATCHER. NOT the Canadian Sharpcatcher, but the other Sharpcatcher.
In Krik's it is printed as "BY SHARPCATCHER, he by Flatcatcher".
MOSS ROSE is locked because she won the Queen's Plate. Can we please verify this pedigree?

The pedigree for Moss Rose 1875 is correct as given in the db here (ref. ASB 3:200), but Krik's confusion is understandable. Sharpcatcher (CAN) 1869 x Luther was out of a mare (*Maratana, ex Mermaid, 1853 blk) x Flatcatcher (GB). *Sharpcatcher 1859 (imp. to KY 1870) was x Flatcatcher. The only clues as to where he stood are daus. credited to him that were owned in Missouri & Tenn.
I noticed that both Annie Laurie 1859 ch m x *Lapidist and Lizzie Wright 1870 br m x Terror are credited in the db here w/ an 1874 filly x Sharpcatcher 1869 named Amelia. There is no entry for 1874 in ASB produce rcds. for Annie Laurie. Lizzie Wright's 1874 foal is recorded as a br f Aurelia x "Sharpcatcher (Son of Luther)".
