Folk's pride (by Turn-To)...

Postby jilltx » Wed Sep 29, 2004 9:09 am

Does anyone know if this stallion, or any of his offspring, ever stood in Australia? Any information anyone has about him would be appreciated. I have a mystery mare that's supposedly from Australia, but she has no brands or Tattoos. She should have been foaled around 1990 and exported to the US around 1995. The "pedigree" info that arrived with her says that her name is "Folk's Pride" but tha'ts incorrect obviously.

I know it's a shot in the dark, but can anyone help?

I'm certain that he did not stand in Australia. He was a VERY fast (1:08 4/5) son of Turn-to who stood in California for most, if not all, of his life. He sired some very fast horses which were in general as unsound as he was.
