HELP! - Does anyone have US Race records from 1880s?

Hi,
I am trying to find the race record of Bramble's full sister, Brambaletta (Bonnie Scotland - Ivy Leaf, by Australian). She is a foal of 1878. My ancestor bought her out of the Belle Mead (sp?) Yearling sale in 1879 and she seems to have been a very nice horse according to an article in the NY Times in 1881. That year she beat Hindoo, lost by a head to Spinaway and manged to win a race THE DAY AFTER she lost one by half a length! I'd really like to find out her stats and see all of her stakes wins and placings, because there seem to have been several.
