Can someone post the pedigree of this mare? Her Jockey Club Registraion number is 304960. That number isn't necessarily correct, it comes from a fifty year old record from the Anglo Arabian Horse Registry. Any help is appreciated.

Could it be Roseface? There was a 1930 filly by Dick Turpin by that name, she's here in the database.

That would be the right age. The Arabian Datasource is not always correct in their records from that far back for non-arabian parents. She would be the dam of a filly born in 1944. Thanks for your help!

Has to be her, then - no other 1930 babies had names that were even close.

Roseface did not have any registered Thoroughbred foals from 1944-1946, and during that time she changed ownership at least once, no doubt she was off producing Anglo-Arabs.

The Jockey Club stopped allowing Anglo-Arabs to be registered in 1943 - her kids just missed. :wink:

Was her '41 an Anglo-Arab?

Nope.....Serajevo was an English-bred TB by Hapsburg. He's here in the DB. The name got me looking it up, too....as did the name Ibn Ara, but he was all TB too.
