You can find out quite a bit just by googling her - like the fact that she placed in a $7K claimer at Stampede on Apr 24. For her complete record to date in a nice, neat, nutshell, your best bet is to purchase it from one of the commercial services.

I'm confused at your response

Postby JimbleBrimble » Thu May 26, 2005 6:38 pm

You were just told that Judge Pritty raced last Sunday at Calgary, Alberta, and then you imply that you think she has been retired for over a year???

Please, accept factual reality as just that.

Oops, I did mark the wrong year for her win. She won on May 9, 2004 at Hastings, but has indeed raced 4 times at the current Stampede Park meeting.

Trying again,

Umm she has been standing in my barn since last July so I am fairly positive that she is retired :) unless of course someone has been borrowing her, trucking her to Calgary and then returning her in the Morning before I feed...

StealingKat,

A filly by the name of Judge Pritty really did finish 2nd in the 6th at Stampede this past Sun. (22 May 2005). Check DRF, Brisnet, or any of the other svcs. Per the chart, she was bred by Basran Stables BC, and is owned/trained by June Brown. You might want to verify the identity of the mare in your possession.

Interesting for sure... I will be checking into this. Very odd indeed. Does stampede race QH and TB? Is there any way that is possible? Curious and Curiouser....

Just checked they only race tb this time of year... I will keep you guys posted with what is happening on this. It is just plain Ole to weird for me. I have a young mare with JC papers that match so I will look into this. I'm a bit weirded out to be sure

Papers really aren't that probative - too easy to falsify. DNA is the 'gold standard'. Since Judge Pritty was b. in 2001 there should be DNA on file w/ the JC for Vying Victor, Regal Tears, and their '01 foal. That should make confirming or disproving that you do indeed have that foal pretty cut & dried.

Hey Kat,

Sorry to hear about your dillemma.I was just recently talking to June and she has Judge Pritty so I hope you didnt get scammed by someone. In racing they have to be identified with a tatoo and there papers and markings have to match up so maybe check that on the set of papers you have and see if they match up.If you got her from someone at the track PM me and i'll see what i can do from my end.
