Thanks, as always, Lucy. I got the tail female back a little bit more from ASB viii, but reached another dead end. Black Betty was by one of the mid 19th cent. Bendigos that I'm about to add to the db. Nonce's sire Joe Chalmers Jr. was probably by Joe Chalmers (Consol) - Miss Foot (Consol), but proof is lacking. Lunatic Jr. is in ASB i, but his damside justs adds to the mystery. He was born in, and Miss Foot was taken to, Texas. 'Nuff said.
Do you have a dam on Dixie Davidson by Atkins (dam of Dixie Dance 1929 by Dennydance)?

Dixie Davidson, 1922 by Atkins out of Bessie Baker, by Harmon Baker. I added her.
Thx. by Harmon Baker.. by Peter McCue... I have to smile every time I see the notes in the db entry (one of them) for P. McC. His offspring had little impact on TB bloodstock breeding and are found only in QHs today. Relatively little impact, yes, but he can be found lurking back in the pedigrees of some minor stakes-winning TBs of very recent vintage.
I have vols. i, ii, iii, vii, viii, xii and xiii of the pre-1930's ASB's, and some odds & ends since then - also Early Am. Turf Stock & many of Harrison's other equine works. If you need info from any/all, please let me know. I'd be delighted to be able to reciprocate the help you've provided.
