Stallion - King's Nest

Postby galloop_gurl » Wed Oct 20, 2004 6:35 pm

Eh there. I am looking for opinions on this stallion and people's insight on what he might throw. Would you take a mare to him? Should I buy some of his crop?

Thanks!

Good runner, inability to sire SW's, sires lots of local winners in Alberta but for the most part in the lower end of the claiming range for that reason. Almost all of his have cost to race more than they have won in earnings.

I make this next comment out of personal opinion and do not want to offend anyone (but I know I will), So sorry in advance.

Personally I think the reason there are no SW's out of him in Alberta is because we have a very poor breeding program and he covered average mares. All ofhis foals have been very smart, almost to smart for there trainers. Along with smart they are very athletic.
