Blomida 1876 x Longfellow

Postby Pan Zareta » Mon Oct 24, 2005 6:40 pm

Lucy - Blomida is most likely a misspelling from ASB viii. Autocrat's dam was almost certainly BlomiNda 1876 x Longfellow - Oceanica x *Australian (ASB iii:267). I filled in the dam line, but can't change the name b/c she has desc.

Dang those old-timey typesetters!

Blomida has been re-entered as Blominda. I left a note in the comments regarding the ASB error; please feel free to tinker with it as you see fit. :) Is Autocrat the only progeny? If there some recent adds that I couldn't see, they'll need switching over.

Thanks! Autocrat's her only progeny that I know of at present.

Ok, another country heard from - just checked bloodlines on this mare & it's in agreement w/ pedigree, but also has her as Blomida, as shown in short ped. for Autocrat as a sire, ASB viii. Since an owner is shown in the bloodlines entry (wife of the owner of Oceanida), it may be derived from Blom*da's entry as a dam in a vol. of the ASB that I don't have, dammit, and if she's shown as Blomida in TWO vols., it's probably her dam's record in ASB iii showing her as Blominda that's in error. (Still with me so far?) So you might want to change her back to Blomida.

Mea maxima culpa for the trouble.

Have tried 2x today, including just now, to leave something in the notes field re. how she's listed under her dam in ASB iii, but when I hit "add/edit extra info" it's 404-ing. :?:

I just switched her country code to and fro, without problems. I'd offer to have you PM me the notes and I'd add them, but I'm kinda grounded - my phone line's out at home. :( Right now I'm on my parents' computer, but will be leaving here shortly.

You can feel free to e-mail or PM anything you want me to change anyway, but I may not be back online to fix 'em until Monday.
