Have had Bogey 8 years and want to know...

I bought Bogey 8 years ago after he failed the track and was going to head to New Holland auction...

That's all I know about him before me. I bought him at what I thought was two years old in 1997, and he's been the love of my life ever since, and will live the rest of his days, at my side. He's already been retired to a life of trail rides and cuddles, and I want to know... Who was my horse, before he was my Bogey.

His number is X13633.. But those dang things are soo hard to read.. It may be 13533.. horrible tattoo job..

If anyone could please, research him for me, and feel free to email me back at [email protected], I would REALLY appriciate it..

He was a rigling when I got him, dark bay, center forehead whirl with a small tuft of white near it. He also had a big snot bubble on his nose that we had to have drained...

I sorta remember something about his name being Bo-Bo's or Cheap Sneakers, something like that.. I can't recall...
I got him in PA....

Any other info I can give, let me know!

There is a horse named Cheap Sneakers, who was bred in PA - but he'd have been a yearling when you met Bogey, and he raced for two years, so that must not be him. I can't find anything under any variation of 'Bo-Bo's' that fits.

Only the Jockey Club can look up horses by tattoo number, and there is a charge for it.

If his lip tattoo starts with an "X" he was born in 1994. If he is eleven now, well that is one of those ages that is pretty clearly marked by teeth... Galvayne's groove is apparent and about 1/4" long, and the eleven-year hook is also apparent. If he was born in 1995, his tattoo would start with the letter "Y".

Caved and paid the Jockey Club.

His name is Bogey Kline - I found his pedigree, and they sent me his races (he never won, thats okay though, he's my baby) but I would like to know what place he did come in and who still has 'ownership' according to jockey club or whatnot
Any other info would be great too
