Hi,

In terms of her race record and style I would say that she has attributes that are quite common among productive mares.

She was speedy, she was a winner on dirt and very competitive on turf as well (2nd beaten a head, and 2nd beaten a length). Although her career record was 11-1-2-0 this mare was more capable than what the record suggests.

I looked at her pedigree and I wish I was more familiar with many of the names in the recent generations on the female side of her family. No doubt the Irish lineage is mostly the reason why I'm not so familiar.

I would give her passing grades as far as her ability as a race horse and I have no qualms about the Green Desert half of her lineage.

My suggestion is to train your attention on the female side of her pedigree, and if she meets your standards in that area then go ahead and pursue this mare.

Don't know what more I can say.

Hi again.

The mare was undoubtedly over her head in initial trio of Maiden Special Weights company in Southern California. She moved to $32000 maiden claiming and immediately won her only race, leading all the way.

Next she stepped up in class, tried turf, and didn't go so well, and after that she was off for about ten months.

Upon her return she was a solid competitor in four consecutive races (april-july 2001) in the $40000-$50000 claiming range before laying off for most of another year and then not finishing very well in her last pair of starts.

No question there was some ability to her, and there certainly exists the chance that she could produce very useful runners, especially on circuits beneath the very best.

Thank You very much, I know the mare has had some behavioral issues that was effecting her ablility to run as well. She might well be worth looking into as she is priced well. All I have to do now is find a ride from southern California to Southern oregon. Thank You very much
