I'm attempting to fill in the progeny record of a stud that stood in my locale for many years. Unfortunately he seems to have covered quite a few obscure mares.

This is quite odd as I have at hand a brisnet progeny report for Murrtheblurr that gives completely opposite information.

For Example; 1983 Whiff of Smoke, B, F -- Smoke N Roses By Romight

1983 Mer Can, Dkbbr, C -- Cindy Air By Private World.

And so on, as I indicated in original post.

I'm now quite baffled.

I can only go by my APR... a call to the Jockey Club should verify...HEY I didn't mean to confuse you.. the "by" I listed is the DAM's sire... not the sire of the mare. I was just dragging them over from the apr.. I was going by the sires you provided.

I was looking at it as the sire of the mare in question, that Chief Teddy was the sire of Smoke N Roses.
