I just bought a TB gelding today that was donated to a rescue named "Biscuit", don't know his registered name as he didn't show up with papers. He's from a farm in NJ called Quiet Winter Farm and was donated from what I understand to a rescue after he couldn't sell. His coggins shows this for his tattoo number "?06163". He's around 7 years old and a bay. Can anyone find out who this guy is for me? Please email me at [email protected]. I am looking to find out more about him before I climb on his back!

Ashley, the only people who can research a tattoo and tell you the name of the horse are at the Jockey Club. The charge is $35, and you will have to provide the complete tattoo. If it is on his Coggins, it is on his upper lip. You will have to decipher the first letter (and it IS a letter if he was born in the US). If he is 7 now, he was born in 1999 and it SHOULD be the letter "C". Other Options: B = 1998 and D = 2000. Good luck.
