APR on mare please!

Postby Camish » Sun Oct 31, 2004 2:59 pm

Hi! Can anyone please help me out? I need info on a mare named Queenimean, 95, by Private Admirer out of Hatchet Drive. I'm interested in a foal of hers. And any info on Hatchet Drive would be appreciated also. Thank you! :D

I'm with you, chigg--this problem drives me insane and I'm sure I'm missing messages. I hate this format and find it very difficult to follow. Damn that spedie--this is all her fault.

It is Edie's fault. Trolls are dealt with severely on other forums, especially by the other posters, and the moderators are swift and deadly. Man are they (the trolls) run out of town on a rail, and if they stick their nose in under a pseudonym, they are chopped meat within literally seconds, whether they repeat their offenses or not, just for insulting the posters by thinking they can pull one over on them by showing up. Where Edie got her toehold on leniency around here, I'll never get. I guess there just wasn't any way of deneying her access in the other format, though, so this is the best we can do for now as a way of almost keeping her in check. Alot of threads get lost under this format, though.

I think this is a better format for forums which move along and in which yesterday's posts are gone and forgotton. That isn't necessarily true on this form, with this subject matter. A whole lot of posts, and certainly most topics are good reference material, useful months or more after they are posted, and they are often referred to many times, or neede, in other posts or topics. Probably because this is very much a research site, releying heavily on current statistics and references. Yes, you can find something if you really want it, but not easily, somehow. One visual feature I miss was how nice it was to see the expanded thread and author on the old forum, like the Del Mar site is, still.

BTW, is the Del Mar site any relationship to this pedigree site?
