Western Glo/Fire Fly
I was looking at the mare on Equine Now just by browsing for Thoroughbreds and in looking up her pedigree I noticed there's another mare listed with her birth year and a different name. Is that another mare with the wrong year, was Western Glo renamed? What? Are progeny records for Distinctive Glo accurate? Equine Now has her listed as JC registered with the name Western Glo given.

Arctic Cielo wrote:Fire Fly was her barn name and someone must have added it. I owned the mare as a 3 year old and she was extremely quiet and easy to ride. If I had the money I would buy her back. She would make a great hunter for someone or even a broodmare. She is tall and pretty
See this kind of thing happens and I have this weird 'it's a small world' moment. I know there's lots of horse people here that are in the business but there are thousands and thousands of TBs that it's so funny when someone goes 'oh yeah I used to ride them' or 'I saw that one race in a maiden claimer 3 years ago' or what have you. Shame I can't get her right now..it was fun to hear the ringing endorsement though, thanks Arctic!
