Located in California and thinking about breeding my mare, unfortunately the stallions I like are on the east coast, so what do you think about possible west coast services for this mare?

Welcome, Storme. I updated the pedigree info for your mare's family, but some added won't show up until tomorrow. The family is not very strong for racing ability. You might want to rethink your plan, as breeding to race would be unlikely to be profitable, and breeding to sell would almost certainly be unprofitable. I can't really find any indication of any particular affinities for stallion lines for Uno Roberto mares, so you would need to look at Roberto as the broodmare sire for any nicks. Roberto's daughters have done especially well with Northern Dancer, Blushing Groom, and to a lesser extent Ribot and Raise a Native/Mr. Prospector sons. There is a nice California sires directory at ctba.com.

Thanks Henthorn & Mary for the advice. I didn't think she had very strong numbers for a runner and you've confirmed it, so I think I'll go with my first plan and breed her this year to an SE Arabian stallion. If we get a good product I'll stay with this line, if not we'll try a QH Stallion.
Since she was given to me, I thought I might as well get some use out of her besides her being a trail horse. She was supposedly lame, had a bad back, and bad knees when I got her. But after completing three good trail rides with varying terrain, maybe someone needs to tell her that she's a cripple. LOL Any way she's also quite the looker, everyone who sees her just loves her, says she's very well put together. Her last owner is really kicking themselves for giving her away. But you know what they say about a free horse, I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop. HA!
Thanks Again! Storme
