CORNISH SNOW STALLION

Postby chop » Fri Dec 09, 2005 6:25 pm

I have three mares that will be bred this spring. They are all Arkansas breds and will need to be bred to an Arkansas stallion this year. I am interested in Cornish Snow. Does anyone have an opinion on whether or not they will be a good fit for him. The links are listed below:

Chop,

I think you want a pretty substantial mare to breed to him. I recall him being rather light made and light boned, but I saw him ages ago it seems.

Austique,

Thanks for the input. Missy Shy and Cybertech are both pretty substantial. They both had a lot of races put in them and held up well. He seemed to hold up pretty well with as many races and the owner said that he retired sound and had straight front legs which is unusual for a Storm Cat horse. We will probably go and look at him in December to see what he looks like. Hopefully, he looks good. I believe that even though light, he must have pretty strong bones and good conformation to hold up for so many races and retire sound. Thanks again.
