I just looked at the site.....What happened to him during his 3- and 5-year-old years? Was he injured?

I'll try to find out. Zealous ran a pair of triple-digit Beyers at 2 in California, but was durable enough to win a NY Grade 3 stakes race at 4, and score an additional graded stakes placing at 6. Plus, he bred big and very high-quality books of mares in 2006 and 2007. His owner supported him with some very very nice mares, assuring him every chance of being a success when his runners hit the track in 2009.
