Okay I'm not up on whats worked with Farma Way, but I think she's an interesting mare coming from a very solid, hard-knocking family, so I'll toss a few out there and see what might stick.

The dam had some success with Service Stripe, so Deputy Minister might be a way to go with the leading candidate in your price range being Deputy Commander who did run at 3 and 4 (okay his 4yo year was abbreviated).

The second one you're not going to like , but I kind of like her with Menifee (unfortunately a Storm Cat grandson). He ran at 2 and 3 and I think he's a bit a typical for the sire line.

Slew City Slew is always a solid choice...of course he's getting up there in age.

If you're breeding to race Evansville Slew is the best buy in your area if not in all America. Simply put he produces runners!!!

One of my favorite horses a couple of years ago was Clock Stopper. Look at his pedigree. Gilded Time/Great Fun-Farma Way. You get crosses to Damascus, Princequillo, What A Pleasure, and Native Dancer.

Evensville Slew is a great horse...I notice you wont consider going to NY...if you change your mind look up Say Florida Sandy...hard knocker, tall, correct, retired very sounds after 7 yrs on the track and is a stakes winner...many times over.He stands at Buckridge Farm in NY...I got to see several of his foals last yr and they were most impressive and his fee is well within your range!

The most interesting crosses to me are 11 crosses of Sir Gallahad through 11 different horses, 1 son and 10 daughters,tons of Teddy and Blenheim, sex balanced Nasrullah, Nashua, Raise A Native, Prinequillo etc.

If you would consider going to an unproven stallion, you might look at Seattle Fitz. He provides some hybrid vigor with the good South American influences. I recommended him to a client early this year, and he said that Seattle Fitz is a beautiful specimen, and that his first foals are outstanding. The people at the farm (Buck Pond Farm) are very accomodating and helpful (Doug Arnold). Seattle Fitz was a very good racehorse who competed head to head with the best of his generation.
