Hi Guys,

I have a mare that is going to retire at the end of the year and need some help on selecting a mate for her. I would be willing to haul to Kentucky or surrounding states if a good choice can be made for this mare. She is 4 times stakes placed but have yet to get that stakes win but are still trying until the end of the year.

Any advice would be appreciated. I have my own stud, Timetobewild which I could use the first year but not sure of the match.

I breed to race.

Help :D

Bernstein looks good on paper. So many have too much Mr. Prospector. Seattle Slew and Northern Dancer and In Reality should work well, and Princequillo was good with Gallant Man.

If you're still in Kansas, consider one of the OK stallions for breed to race.

JimP,

Take a look at Pleasant Tap. Good nick, good sire, and has the princequillo that henthorn mentioned.

There is also a horse in KY named Home At Last that looks intriguing with this particular mare.
