I have the option to breed one of two mares this year. One is a Seattle Slew granddaughter by La Saboteur, photo at link:

She is obviously a little long in the back and needs improvement on her topline. But she's very athletic, correct through the legs, solid in her build, and moves and jumps well.
The other is a Vice Regent granddaughter, by Cougar's Crown. Can't post a pic as she isn't mine, but she is very correct overall, has a nicer topline, but is finer boned. She has pretty much been a broodmare for her life so not too sure how she would have been as a sport horse herself.
Any opinions on which you'd pick? Looking to cross to WB stallion to improve upon the weaknesses of each.
Which mare has better lines for sport breeding?

Not sure if this will help your decision. I have a Seattle Slew granddaughter that I have bred twice now to a warmblood stallion and now have two foals on the ground by her. We just took my yearling filly to an AWS inspection and she received a bronze medal and a score of 7.8 for sport horse potential. She has excellent movement for dressage and we expect she should be great at the higher levels. My other by her was born this March and is a colt. He is going to be larger than her first foal and is bigger boned. I expect he will do well either in jumping and or dressage as he seems to be quite athletic. You can see pictures of her first foal on my website www.motesporthorses.com. The stallion I bred to is Salto. He is Hannoverian and can be seen at www.desertspringranch.com
I don't think you should have any trouble with breeding your Seattle Slew granddaughter for a sport horse. The other one I am not familiar with the breeding on so I can't help there.
