Looking a stallion next year for STANISLESS (Panis)

Postby dylan thomas » Mon Jun 11, 2007 3:13 am

Hello.

I asked some time ago a mating for AVERA (Monsun), finally she went and she's in foal to Black Sam Bellamy.

I has now running in Spain, were I from and were I live a 4yo mare in training and running well named STANISLESS (2003, PANIS out of RUSSIAN MOUNTAIN by SELKIRK). She's going to run next Sunday at Madrid the Lototurf, like the Tiercé-Quarté in France, and then she only will run in France looking at the end of the year to retire her to the stud in France, where she will stay normally (French premiums). She's winner of 2 races last year in France and this year has a 2nd and 3rd place at Madrid, where she could win, but her jockey went very early (she has a good final sprint).

Her 2nd dam MOSKOVSKAYA (ROBERTO) is a half sister to Gr.1 Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe winner TREMPOLINO, but MOSKOVSKAYA has a poor production.

Her dam RUSSIAN MOUNTAIN is by SELKIRK the best SHARPEN UP sire in Europe, the same sire as TREMPOLINO.

I'm looking for a stallion for her. I want to enter in her foal pedigree a lot of Northern Dancer blood and try to make an inbreeding with MISWAKI, sire of PANIS.

I think to send her to JOHANN QUATZ (SADLER'S WELLS - WHAKILYRIC - MISWAKI), who stands at France for €4,000 but has a very poor fertility, only has in foal around 7-8 mares per year. He has very good performances, and his little number of foals, has very good physical and quality. The stud advise to has chosen another stallion if the mare is barren in the 3rd service. And I look BLACK SAM BELLAMY (SADLER'S WELLS - URBAN SEA - MISWAKI) with the same cross in Germany for € 4,000 too.

Please, I'll be very granted if someone can orientate me if the crosses are good and if you look another stallion for her in France, UK, Ireland or Germany not much expensive.

Thank you for all.

Regards from Madrid

What about

CENTRAL PARK (IRE) b. H, 1995 DP = 2-0-17-17-2 (38) DI = 0.38 CD = -0.45 - 16 Starts, 6 Wins, 1 Places, 1 Shows Career Earnings: $1,043,407

He is the kind of stallion you seem to like (stamina oriented).
He had few good opportunities so far.
I think he is really inexpensibe.
Standing in Italy.

Good luck.
