Thoughts on this 3x3 Mr. P Inbreeding

Postby Avila Acres » Sat Jan 05, 2008 7:53 pm

I can have my stallion bred to a mare who is just beautiful. She's a jumper and her owner is going down to the US to train with a former Olympian and the horse needs a home for a year or so. I liked to give a race baby a shot but the thing is, both their paternal grandsire is Mr. P. What do you think?

He is Ingot by Seeking the Gold and o/o Catinca
She's Pretty Angel by Canyon Creek and o/o Lifestooshort

If both are fairly correct in the front end then I see nothing wrong with Mr. P that close. IMO you can't get enough. The greatest sire in modern times. I 'll bet you'll be quite happy with the outcome.

How did Pretty Angel become a jumper?? Her dam won $153k with a 56/12/04/09 record and was half to a multi graded stakes winner of $636k ??

Also, I like your stallion's pedigree, especially his dam.. I'd be interested in the foal if you made it a PABRED.
