I'm buying a mare by Kissing Kris. Her name is Icanseeformiles. She is her dam's first foal, and there has been little production in the first dam. 2nd dam produced several stakes horse by Kissin Kris. Any hope of a commerical foal if bred to a young first year KY sire?

No. Stay under $7,500 and find a nice, proven, breed-to-race (preferably a Prospector).

Pioneering or Bright Launch.

BTW, could I trouble you for a picture when you get her... please :)

It is unfortunate that she is not her second dam. Her selling price at OBS should provide a clue, perhaps she is not the best-conformed individual?

Conformation is EVERYTHING at the sales, closely followed by immediate blacktype, stud fee, etc. Pedigreewise, I really like her with Ecton Park and you might be able to pick up a season for less. I am just delighted with my Ecton Park filly this year, she is GORGEOUS.

Madelyn-

There were whispers that they were looking to move Ecton Park late last year. Have you heard anything there? I have always liked the way he looked and purposely checked out his offspring at KEE. They always seemed to be well conformed and well muscled.
