Inbreeding Little Hut turns up 173 horses in the database with 22 stakes (13%) horses including a couple of graded. In all honesty I'd never seen or thought about Little Hut, so was shocked to see so many with her in the ped twice.

Little Hut and Somethingroyal were two of the best producing mares of the 20th century.

Her family branch has not proven to be prolific thus far.

She would be one I would want to know everything about before investing in her as a broodmare.

She is very nice conformation wise, I can't really fault her anywhere. Good strait legs, nice shoulder, huge rump, back is a bit longer then I like but not overly. she looks remarkably like her sire down to the same markings even.
I really like this mare as an individual not taking pedigree into account.
As for pedigree I like her 4x4 to northern dancer from both sire lines.

If you don't mind my picking at your brains a little more who do you think would make a good cross?
Looking at stallions standing in the southeast and 5000 or under.

She is only broodmare sound. She only raced once, just speculating but I would take a guess that she was injured in the race but again I don't have any info on that.
