He's absolutely beautiful. Are you standing him or thinking about breeding a mare?

Dam's female side leaves alot to be desired(alot unraced) but other than that very nice bloodlines.

I respectfully disagree - He has a graded stakes-winning half-sister & a graded stakes-placed one. Also, his dam is half to graded stakes horses including the sire Will's Way & popular former Maryland sire Citidancer, also graded stakes producers & from a strong Maryland family.

They may be popular only in the Midatlantic, but the family certainly did race.

If he's not 'commercial racing sire material' it's not the fault of his dam's family.

I have to agree with KBE. Dam side looks pretty good to me.

What would be your goal for the foal?

As far as race breeding, he started 5 times, 1-1-1 and earned under $25K, no stakes and he must have been running at a mediocre level ($30k or under). His high speed rating was 89. Certainly not stakes speed. In looking at his family, there are performers by Holy Bull, Two Punch, and others.

The three mares you asked about do not really match up all that well pedigree wise, there is nothing in the matings to jump up and down about - in my opinion. I know it is VERY late in the season, but perhaps you might look elsewhere.

He was a 500,000 yearling that must have had some problems.

Actually, he sold for

2002 Evangelism,B,c,Pulpit 1 5 1 1 1 24,910 ( 89) 1.70
North America Turf Record 1 0 0 0 1,560 ( 82)
North America Dirt Sprints 2 0 1 0 6,020 ( 89)
North America Dirt Routes 2 1 0 1 17,330 ( 89)
DP = 10-3-9-0-0 DI = 3.89 CD = 1.05 AWD = 8.00
Sold at Hip # Sales Price Sire Avg Rank Stud Fee
KEENOV 2002 0454 $270,000 $185,000 wlg ( 1/ 2) $40,000
KEESEP 2003 0004 $400,000 $172,958 ylg ( 2/24) $40,000
KEEAPR 2004 0018 $225,000 $817,500 2yo ( 5/ 6) $40,000

His problems might be related to being trained for a two year old in training sale, or he was just slow.
