Do you have a stud fee range in mind?

You might want to look at the PABRED program.

The PABRED stallion incentives is attracting some decent stallions and some/most are standing at affordable fees.

The PABRED owners and breeders incentives are also good.

Catina Park has a cross of sons of Northern Dancer out of Victoria Park mares (Giboulee & Greek Answer). Mating her to a stallion carrying Vice Regent would create some interesting linebreeding.

In examining the graded stakes winners from sons of Saint Ballado (Captain Bodgit apparently only has one), there is a bit of a pattern. Bloodlines that recur are Mr. Prospector, In Reality and Tom Fool. You could take a look at A. P. Jet in NY - I don't know much about his statistics but the hypo cross is pretty nice.

Teuflesberg $5,000 at Hurricane Hall in Kentucky. You would be 3x3 to full brothers Devil's Bag and St. Ballado.

Because her page would be very light for sales purposes, breeding to race should be the main objective and is your stated goal, with that in mind, using the 2008 NY leading sire, Freud would result in 5X5 to Northern Dancer, 4X5 to Halo, 4X5 to Ballado (which would also give an RF to Ballado with her full siblings Saint Ballado and Glorious Song 3X4) and 5X5 to Hail to Reason. With a fee of 7.5K this would be my top end choice. A Cormorant/Halo cross has produced some good runners in the past, so I would think Albert The Great in PA looks pretty good with this mare, and Raffie's Majesty in NY is a son of Cormorant that also has been doing pretty well at stud. TrueNicks rates the Albert The Great mating with an A+, this would also bring in Mr. Prospector and Vice Regent, both of whom have been mentioned.

I like the RF with Freud and the fact that the foal could be an early runner whereas Albert The Great and Raffie's Majesty foals tend to take some time to show their best.

Good luck with whatever you do.

Good point, DDT. If you're considering NY or Kentucky and you are breeding to race, go with Freud and load up on your breeder's bonuses (NY-bred, NY Stallion Series, etc.).

Not KY or NY but Cherokees Boy is standing ay Maryland Stallion Station for $2,500,
