We have had Saddlebreds for 30 yrs. We bought this mare last year as a 3yr old. Fell in love with the intelligence of this beautiful Athletic breed, and are now in the process of selling our 3 remaining saddlebreds.
Elegant Lou. Is her reg name.
Posh x Dusty Lou by Bob's Dusty and Harolou. Can you offer any suggestions for possible stallions or bloodlines to look for? We have also acquired a stallion that has been retired from the track out of Royal Academy.
Thank you for your input.
Gary
I'd like to include a picture of her, but the only ones I have are on our Documents, not a website. Any help would be appreciated.[/img]

How to post pics (from another forum, but would work here, too. The only difference is to click on the URL box above the box you type text in, instead of the button show in this link.

Sorry, no suggestions on stallions from me - I'm rather new at TB breeding myself! It would likely help others to know where you live.

There's really nothing here that suggests the mare should be bred for racing. If she has the physical, sport horse breeding might be an option.
Otherwise, I would find another vocation for her. Focus on quality, not convenience.

I agree, I don't think this mare should be bred for racing. Her sire is unraced, and unproven, and her dam hasn't produced any winners. Sorry.

Yeah ; I'd have to agree with the other posts here. Might want to consider sport horse breeding as already mentioned.

We bought her for 500.00 for a riding horse for my wife. She's 16.1, not a giant, but maybe bred to the right horse for jumpers as you folks have been kind to recommend. Thank you all for your time in responding. As I said she wasn't purchased to be used for breeding. it's just now that we have seen more of the TB world and the sport it's always interesting to find out what is behind your horse and if they have any potential.
