He's produced some useful runners from mares by Royal Charger line stallions. If the mare's pedigree also has a line of Mahmoud and Tourbillon, then Waquoit is really appreciative.

The mare is Tribal Quest and the choices of stallions are: Meadaaar, Not A Corgi, Allawinir and Jelly Roll Rock thanks

Either Allawinir or Jelly. I like Green Dancer (he and Grey Dawn have Ampola in common and this family likes return of it's own) in the important "heartline" position in Jelly's pedigree but the foal taking a genetic unsoundness hit from the two crosses of Mr P and the excessive Native Dancer would be a big concern.

Tribal Quest would be a great cross with a son of Halo. Waquoit's 2 leading money earners are out of Halo mares. Too bad you don't have access to a Halo line stallion...
AS A BROODMARE SIRE
WAQUOIT (1983), black type winner of $2,225,360. Sire of 14 crops, 508
foals, 401 starters, 25 black type winners, 310 winners, $23,176,937.
Sire of 97 producing daughters, 291 foals, including black type winners
Bronze Abe ($515,064), Maria's Image ($157,485), Penthouse Melody
($137,440), Red Velvet Cake ($111,744), Nomorebills ($75,030), Marino
Marini ($298,304).

Not a Corgi would be my choice from your stallions. Jelly Roll Rock and Meadaaar are 2nd and 3rd choice.... I like the cross with Not A Corgi a lot after looking at Bronze Abe and also Maria's Image... Both of them are out of Waquoit Mares.....

I absolutely love Waquoit..I always wanted to breed a mare to him but never had a good cross..I really like Tribal Quest's female line even without the blacktype up close the family definitely produces runners. Quest has one race in her before she comes here. My 1st choice also was Not A Corgi..I liked his body structure with his, the fact that he is a sprinting speedball to offset her mile and the Waquoit/Mr P x2 cross. My only regret is that she isnt gray..oh well...any others out there with thoughts on my new mare and her future mate?
As a side note I am having a wonderful time this year so far...having sold most of my broodmares I only have 9 at the moment, its so much fun to be foaling out other peoples mares...someone to share the excitement with! I love making those phonecalls

Marino Marini was out of a Waquoit mare so apparently Storm Cat works.

Gerry, try to get some Raise a Native in there. Both Relaunch and Grey Dawn do especially well with that line. Grey Dawn is the major source of Case Ace other than through Raise a Native, thus a good cross. Also Royal Charger and his female and male descendants through Majectic Prince, Turn-To, Francis S. do well with the family of Relaunch.
