Help ! I need to sign the contract asap. Which is a better choice and why?
The Mare is a real cutie named Two for Free. Unfortunately I am blinded by the grey and need to ask for help! I know a good horse is never a bad color.

Hi, I would go with Out Of Place. He is a tried and tested sire, on his way to being good broodie sire. Also putting the fragile Unbridled on top of your mares Drone, might not be good. However it did produce Grindstone. Just my two cents

I, too, like Out of Place with your mare's pedigree, of course personal inspection of the stallions will rule it one way or the other for you based on conformation....

I would love to see both stallions up close and personal. But I won't be able to until I pick my girls up and then it will to late as they will be safely in foal.LOL I'm only making two long haul trips this spring one to OK and the other to KY after the girls have settled . I need to make this choice from afar.

I like Out of Place. At $7500, he's a solid producer, his foals sell pretty well, his foals run, and a filly by him will have some stock as a broodmare.

Unfortunately logic has kicked in and she has been booked to Out of Place. He was the first choice we just had not recieved the contract, turns out they had sent the contract after all.. There is always next year for Even the Score. I know run a business with your head and not your heart. (but I just have this feeling.......)

I haven't seen Even the Score, but I have seen Out of Place twice and was impressed both times. He's a big rangy boy, tall and covers a lot of ground. Well-conformed, perhaps slightly upright shoulder angles. Very athletic, and productive as a sire for the price.

hi henthorn ... hi guys
And if I may add...Out of Place is a very pretty horse...quite rare for a Cox's Ridge.
