Pedigree Query

All,

I have a nice broodmare who won most of her money (100K+) on the dirt in short races <7f. After much stallion searching, the best match which I think is above all other matches is to a stallion with Turf Mile plus success. Is there anyway to figure out what I would get? Should it be done? Thoughts?

After I picked the stallion I ran the nick and it was A+++ if that helps.

Fort Prado (El Prado ex Fort Pond) won stakes races from 5 1/2 furlongs to 8 1/2 furlongs, on turf and polytrack and a win at a mile on dirt as a juvenile. He was out of a dedicated dirt sprinting mare, who won from 5-7 furlongs.

It's worth remembering that Medaglia D'oro was a 9-10f runner, with a placing in the Belmont and a sneaky turf pedigree (including a champion juvenile in turf-only France). He sired a good dirt runner on your mare.

Best-case scenario for you is that you get a healthy horse who can run 6-9f on dirt, turf, and the tapeta at Presque Isle...which is entirely possible, given the parents!
