What lines should one look for when considering a mate for this mare.
The Valid Appeal line might work -- he did very well with the female family of Foolish Pleasure, and Valid Expectations, Valid Wager, or Littleexpectations would all double up on that line. Successful Appeal isn't cheap these days (though I wouldn't necessarily say he isn't good value), but his 3/4 brother Alex's Pal (a very fast allowance runner) is in Florida for $2500, and I notice your mare traces to a half sister to Lucky Debonair, a horse prominent in the pedigree of Successful Dancer, dam of Successful Appeal and Alex's Pal. Alex's Pal is by Valid Expectations, so that makes for a very interesting match indeed. I'd avoid Valid Appeal if your mare tends to have small or shallow feet, though, since the Valid Appeals are all prone to this fault. Upright pasterns tend to come with the house, too, although Alex's Pal looked pretty correct in this regard to me and, at 16.2, is big enough to offset a smallish mare.
The other play you might consider is looking for a Nijinsky II-line sire to try a reverse on the pedigrees of Mecke and his full sister Beautiful Pleasure, who were by Maudlin out of a Baldski mare; Baldski was, of course, by Nijinsky II.

Elusive Quality should be good as he combined with Foolish Pleasure in Smarty Jones and his 2nd damsire Sir Ivor also combined with Foolish Pleasure in the MGIW Universal Prince (AUS).
Also, Elusive Quality's sire Gone West loves returns of the Bold Ruler / Tom Fool cross found in his dam Secrettame (See the GIWs Smarty Jones, Grand Slam, Cajun Beat, and Speightstown). And Nobility'spleasure is 2x2 to Foolish Pleasure and Shameful Pleasure (who are both 2x2 to Bold Ruler and Tom Fool).
Another good thing about Gone West for the mare is that he's gone with Roberto in the MGIW BC Turf (gI) Winner Johar and the Japan Dirt Derby (GI) Winner Cafe Olympus.
Mahubah is verily correct about Niinsky being a desirable strain for this mare as Maudlin combined with Nijinsky in the Excellent MGIW Full Bro and Sis Beautiful Pleasure and Mecke.
And to make this strain even more important (in fact I would account it as essential) for the mare, Maudlin's sire Foolish Pleasure (to whom this mare is closely inbred 3x3) has also combined with Nijisnky in the Italian and German GIW Caitano, the Hong Kong Gold Cup (GI) Winner Bullish Luck, the Canadian Classic (Wonder Where St.) Winner Sylky Market, and the Black Eyed Susans (g2) / Santa Ynez (g2) Winner Yearly Report.
That's 4 GIWs out of only about 20 GIWs descended of Foolish Pleasure I found in a search of GIWs born in the last 10 years.
Dance Master in Florida (a son of Gone West from a Nijinsky mare) would be good for this mare on pedigree.
BTW, it's very important to get a stallion with close up strains good for Foolish Pleasure in the stallion you chose for this mare as the 3x3 inbreeding to him is intense and can be made into a significant positive in this way.

I would consider Louis Quatorze or Repent
Louis Quatorze would make an interesting cross line breeding Bold Ruler 4x5x5x5 and Grey Flight 4x5x5. I would also consider his son Repent. Another horse I would consider would be Judge T C line breeding on Aspidistra 4x5 and Bold Ruler 4x5x5 and Hail to Reason 5x5. Judge T C is loaded with great mares in his pedigree which includes Aspidistra, Somethingroyal, Lalun, and My Dear Girl. Holy Bull could also be an option where you could also line breed on Aspidista 4x5. I would line breed on great mares Grey Flight and Aspidistra if it was me. A son of Elusive Quality or Unbridled may also be an option. Unbridled is line bred Aspidistra.
