Hi all what would be a good mare to be bred to Afleet Alex or blood lines should be in a mare to break secretariats Triple Crown records and a couple of Man`o wars records as well give me advive what mares or bloodlines should I look for in a mare for a New Secretariat/Man`o war record breaker.....!!!!!!

As for your question, I think most of us wish we had the definitive answer to that! :shock:

My best suggestion would be to study the pedigrees of successful Thoroughbreds and read about the breeding theories of the great breeders of the past (Tesio, Boussac, etc.), ask a lot of questions, and develop your own theories on how to breed a superstar. The dilemma seems to be that no matter how diligently you study and plan, you just never know how good a horse will turn out to be. I don't think when Seattle Slew sold for $17,500 that anyone thought he'd turn out to be a Triple Crown winner. But that's what makes this industry so amazing.

I was asking for your guyzes advice I already have and will continue looking for the right mares and/or blood lines for afleet alex to be bre to...!!!!!
