I much enjoy your site and found it to be quite on the mark.
One thing to consider, though, is that several people here on this forum are breeding to sell and it seems that your best and worst values predict success on the track, not necessarily in the sales ring.
While you are right, most stallions, including 1st year stallions don't make it, these are exactly the ones that are making it in the sales ring. Of course, the best of both worlds is for a breeder to breed to a stallion that gets both, runners + yearlings that are at least profitable. Those are out there but most are quite pricy (which they should be).
I would be interested to see your comments on the breed-to-sell aspect of the TB business.
