A friend owns a Wavering Monarch mare who has produced next to nothing thus far (though her '05 filly is splendid). She needs a stallion with some speed and soundness. This mare was unraced but she has a very nice female family. I really can't give any more information on the dam's side as it's not my horse, but I'd love to hear your thoughts based on this scant information.

Why breed her then? If she hasn't produced anything, and she just has a weanling that 'might' be something, I would give that horse a chance to prove herself at the track. If that doesn't workout, I'd find a new career for her. Some horses aren't meant be bred.

We have a Wavering Monarch mare...LOVE HER!
She will be seeing Wheelaway in 2007 and we are looking at possibly readthefootnotes for 2007. She was a beautiful nick to Spanish Steps in Fla....however he lacks a racerecord, I was told it was believed he was crypto here he just dropped late in life. He has seen some very nice mares but its too soon to tell as his off spring havent hit the track and wont for a year or two yet. You are welcome to breed to his full brother Unbridled Song! Get out your big check book!!!

With your Wavering Monarch you have several options!
