dynaformer as a broodmare sire ?
dont blame the horse . he wont know how much you paid for him.
Dynaformer mares have produced 21 stakes winners including Hollywood Story, Private Lap, Crowned King, Diadella, Sharp Lisa, Hour of Justice, Dyna Da Wyna, On the Bus, Kilgowan, Coahoma, Avery Hall, Rapid Ryan, Midwife, Kat Kool and Lakeville.
If you look up the sires of those stakes winners, that will give you a place to start.

many thanks for that ,
i have just sifted through that lot and found :
five by northern dancer line
four by mr prospector
one by wild again
one by sharpen up
one by hail to reason
one by damascus
one by in reality
one by bold ruler.
i suppose this ratio would be about average bearing in mind the relative popularity of the lines , and doesnt really give many clues.
looking at other common ancestors though shows ten with at least one extra cross of turn to (excluding the one carried by dynaformer) could this be significant , and although this is in several cases carried through the mare would breeding to a turn to line stallion make sense ?

thanks for that brendan,
i would fancy smoke glacken for this mare, i think he is underrated, however we are the other side of the pond and i dont want to travel her that far, thats why i am looking to see what has worked in the states ,to get an idea as to what sire line to try.
the mare (chibi) already has turn to s & d and by the looks of dynaformers best broodmare offspring they usually carry an extra cross as well. interestingly chibi's first foal a2yo who won first time up also carries this cross.

that's interesting...
your mare has a dirt pedigree on the distaff side. did she race on grass in europe? how did she do?
smoke glacken has been siring almost exclusively dirt runners. what is your plan with the foal?
if you're looking for a dirt stallion, you can try statue of liberty, who also has a dirt pedigree. it'll save you a bunch of money in shipping

no she never raced over here ,2 time winner in us for $23,000,
first foal 2y0 now winner of 1 from 1 by lord carson.
plan is to breed to sell as weanling, we have plenty of options here speed or distance i was just looking to see if there was sucess with any particular lines in us so that i could try something similar.
