What have been good crossing patterns with Bertrando?
Northern Dancer, especially through Storm Cat (Unfurl the Flag, Black Roack Road), Lyphard (Cliquot, Fair Apache, Lily's Lad) and Nureyev (Denied). It's a little obscure now, but he seems to have an affinity with Fleet Nasrullah (Good Cop Bad Cop, Hugh Hefner, Queenie Belle). Officer was a blend of Seattle Slew and Raise a Native.
Of interest is what he has not done well with overall to date: Mr Prospector and Mr P line mares.
