Help Please - hypo mating results???

Postby DLM » Wed Apr 05, 2006 10:50 am

I did a hypo mating inquery and these were the results:
Conduit Mare Profile = 9-4-4-6-5 Speed = 13 Stamina = 11 Index = 1.30 Triads = 17-14-15

This was what came up for the resulting foal:
DP = 3-2-3-0-2 (10) DI = 1.86 CD = 0.40; GSV = 49.56

Can someone explain this info to me and also give me the name of a couple books I can purchase to read?
thanks

Conduit profile 9-4-4-6-5 indicates an early maturing horse that should be a sprinter but stamina points of 11 suggest that the horse maybe able to get ai mile. GSV suggest that this horse will be a low level claimer. The DP/DI/CD suggests suggest a middle distance horse. Hope this helps

Bill from Wash originated conduit mares profiles and has a book you can get. His website is http://www.dimarpublishing.citymaker.co ... 367142.htm

George William Smith originated GSV and explains it on his website. George's newletter is very good.

The DP/CD (dosage profile) is by Steve Roman. He has a book and a website.
