She has a Mr. P-Northern D. cross already...her family works well with Man o' War lines and she has some already....maybe a bit more?

Ludisia's 2nd and 3rd dams are rated B producers. The soundness in the progeny of those 2nd and 3rd dams is excellent.

I would recommend to buy this mare Ludisia.

1st dam, and 2nd dam are NOT black Type producers. The 3rd dam (who is a very minor stakes winner ) has one very minor stakes winner under her... not enough blacktype at all for my tastes...

I would say, unequivocally, "That Depends." Here is Ludisia's full brother's page:

http://www.fasigtipton.com/catalogs/2005/0718/370.pdf

The first dam is young, could run, and has one winner from one runner as of July 2005. That foal was by Cat's Career (WHO?), so Mutakddim was, IMHO, a significant step up for her. The 2nd dam, although not a stakes producer, had four winners of over $50,000. The third dam has some good descendants out in California, as well as three earners of over $50,000. That's not too shabby, even though stakes production in this family is modest at best.

Ludisia would probably be a good fit in a regional program like Pennsylvania or West Virginia, where a good hard-knocking sound winner producer would really get those breeder's bonuses.

if you checked the general board there is a pic of this mare under (sabino on Canter) i thought her pedigree was pretty interesting, seeing as i like the canadian hark knockers. im considering her, were in TN and breed to run regional

Hi Brook,

Have just had a look at Ludisia and very much like what I see. She has VERY STRONG lines of the Bend Or/Macaroni cross in her background through Dance Numbers and 3/4 Polish Numbers, Buckpasser, Bull Dog, Sir Gallahad, La Trioenne etc. This is a great stuff for potential broodmare material.

If you don't buy her, I hope whoever does realises just what they have their hands on!

Regards
