any thoughts on mating of Simple Faith to Real Romance? Would there be any commercial value in the resulting foal? Thanks a bunch in advance. I am not sure wether to breed my mare or sell her at this time.
I like your mare....

she crosses very well with Gold Token, a son of Mr. Prospector that has been having a good deal of success getting runners on the NYRA circuit. The dosage profile numbers and GSV are very good and the conduit mare profile suggests a very balanced breeding. The Mr. P/Seattle Slew cross has produced several stakes winners. Don't know if you are looking at any stallions in the US but I would surely bet there would be many NY breeders interested in her should she be in foal to a cross like this one.

Thank you very much for your input caladon. It is a very tough decision for me to make as right now I really don't have the room and finances have become an issue. I have a beautiful 2 year old filly out of her and a 2 week old as well. She throws wonderful babies......that is the tough part....I hate to give her up but......reality is peaking it's ugly head around the corner......

Maybe the two year old can get to the track and help out? Good luck to you!

Why not lease her? That way, if things turn around for you, you still have OPTIONS. Also, you have some control over her future.

Not something to consider if finances have become an issue
Leasing is certainly an option if you can find someone who wants to "use" her for awhile; she is pushing the age thing. I don't have any idea what she would actually bring as a sale prospect in your area.
I can't get a feel for Simple Faith.. is he a new stallion? Has he any offspring? Is he likely to be well supported? Does he have ANY mares at all? These are the questions to answer regarding whether or not you could get your money back for producing one of his foals.

Thanks for your input Madelyn and BJ. Yes Madelyn definitely can't get the 2 yr old to the track without finances....lol. This stallion is new, so no babies on the ground yet. BJ I have thought about leasing her out but would rather not go that route. This mare is a very nice, correct mare and is 100% sound, breeding and riding. I also think whe would be an exceptionaly addition to a sport horse breeding program as well. I am the owner of 2 of her foals and have been happy with both. The opportunity for this stallion was presented and I definitely had to look.....
