why so spensive?

Anyone see why Survivalist is worthy of a 10K introductory (can dollar )stud fee? Or why his full brother stands for 1,500 in WA?

because there are people who don't think and will pay it. And because Jack Werk wrote the Canadian breeders a letter telling them how lucky they are. He's probably worth 1/2 of his fee, seeing as his big Stakes win in the Gotham was thanks to Pavo knocking out 1/2 the field inside the 1/16th pole and in his Grade 1 placing he was beat 20 lengths. The funny thing is people I've talked to say he's over priced but breed to him anyways and just shrug it off...have a little backbone and maybe people will stop taking advantage of breeders.

I was hoping someone would shed a little light on this one. I may have to ship a mare I respect to him (at owners' asking), and I think the 10-12.5k market is so rich, that it's a crime. This is the farm that dumped all over Kiridashi as a has been. No vision it seems. I would think that if you want a little sexy Seeking the gold/deep female family...Jazil is in the ballpark. Could be the next Posse type. but thanks for the reply, Ascot.
