AP Indy and Grey Sovereign

Are there any top runners out of Sovereign Path / Grey Sovereign mares by AP indy?

Conversely what about mares with alot of Selene?

Because Grey Sovereign was born in 1948 and his son Sovereign Path was born in 1956 I doubt that either had any daughters that were in production when A.P. Indy went to stud in 1993. At any rate, I could not find any.

Your question is very intriguing to me because I have a Sovereign Path grandson here -- in the U.S. -- & he's not a very popular or at least well-known bloodline in this country.

Would you tell me why you ask & what nicks you could recommend for Sovereign Path in general? And I'm truly sorry I can't answer for the Sovereign Path line mares [except I DO know my stallion has a couple daughters out there.]

Edited to add: But I don't want to hijack your thread - you asked about successful, GSW crosses & I'm not talking about having that level of runner.

Check out 'with approval' and Literato, also there is keltos but his fertility isn't great. I don't see any successful crosses with Ap Indy.

It's an Australian thing. Bernardini is out here this year and we have quite a few Grey sovereign line mares out here through Sovereign Edition and Kalamoun.

We have one or two mares by a son of Estaminet who gel well with Bold Ruler line stallions but they've never been tried witha Seattle Slew line stallion

my sister has a mare, Salsa Festival by Royal Match who is by Sovereign Path.
Out of a TB Mare called Wrinsted by Connaught.
Does anyone know of any other siblings by this breeding?

Our one stallion [in Pennsylvania] is by the Royal Match son, Rocamadour [IRE]. I don't see many other Royal Match sires in the U.S.

One of my favorite mares for him is closely related to Emperor Jones, one of whose best crosses is Royal Match. [Again, we're in Pennsylvania, not Europe or Australia, so no one but me will probably find this even a little bit interesting.]
