TGM
I am not saying anything about breeding to him. I am going to say I have seen him, he is gorgreous, he does not have a long back he has a short back looks like a pinhookers dream everyone knows he ran his breeze in unheard of time. He is very balanced, without any visual flaws. That said I do not agree anywhere close to what he sold for in the ring. However he is a gorgeous well balanced colt. He took a serious injury before he ever raced, they should have not even tried to race him. Is he over priced, in my opinion heck yea, but what isn't pver priced in FL that stands at the what people call the commercial farms. I do know that Hartly Derenzo is offering some inovative deals this year one of the only facilities in FL working deals. In this economy you need the deals if you are going to breed.
Thanks,
Kathy

Even if they paid the mare owners, it wouldn't be worth it IMHO. OH yeah, I guess if you're talking about QH halter classes then you may be on to something. Those horses are so deformed they can't perform either
OMG-Toadie is 100% correct...
I had honestly never paid a lick of attention to how this horse looks-as ALL of the pictures I have seen of him have been just his head and some neck or running-and most horses look good running. there is a reason most pics of The Green Monkey are in motion or just a head shot-
HE IS A GOOFY LOOKING CRITTER

Only one stallion (Not for Love)among the top 20 on the list in 2008 was not a stake winner. None among the top 50 stallions in the country ran and never won. At the end of the day, talent is the great indicator of a stallion prospects potential and talent is not defined by an 1/8 of a mile in February of their 2 year old year.

You mean like maybe they already owned half before the sale?
Possibly something like that, obviously I could possibly comment. Maybe someone else got wind of it too, who knows?
