Stallion seasons

Postby JimP » Mon Aug 22, 2005 3:50 pm

Hi Guys,

After re-formatting my hard drive I lost my list of stallion season agents.
I am looking for all or any that sell stallion seasons on the net.
There was one called the Green sheet? Anybody have the addy for it?
Feel free to post any others because I have to rebuild my list.
Thanks.

:D

The Texas stallion season auction link isn't up yet but it will appear at this site for the Texas Thoroughbred Breeders Association:

http://www.texasthoroughbred.com/TTA/De ... px?TabID=1

I have successfully bid a season via this avenue and have had no problems with it. Should also add that the stallion seasons offered are not entirely restricted to Texas based stallions either. Last year there were several from Kentucky....wouldn't be a bit surprized to see some of the New Mexico stallions with Texas connections advertized there and perhaps a season or two offered for bidding once the link is set up.

There's also a stallion season auction run every year by LSU for all breeds, including some of that state's thoroughbred stallions.

Thanks for the head's up, Jellac. Could you let me know when the auction listing link is posted. (I did sign up for the newsletter.)

Since my husband is now a resident of Texas and we are property owners there (he's at Ft. Bliss) we may just get involved with Texas breds at well.
