Okay both will be standing for $15,000 and both come from the same female line? Who's the better value?

wow. i never thought they would start him at that price. is anyone else
surprised? he only won 1 grade one race, and granted he beat some good horses, but i think at that price he is a gamble. i know i was interested when it was said they are retiring him, but at that price i would pass. maybe i am missing something, is his conformation something
to go gaw, gaw over. i do like his pedigree though, but i guess i would
need to see him in person to decide.

I don't think he's that out of line given what other stallions are starting at; however, Consolidator at $20,000 makes me think some folks at Darley are quite silly.

Ahh, to bottle the magic of Storm Cat in a $20k fee...will probably not happen. But if he does turn out to be good, his fee is lower than those Storm Cat boys at Coolmore. Not that I'd gamble with $20k...
Anyway- back to Monarchos and Wild. Any thoughts on Monarchos at $15k?

Ahh, the joy of double-posting...at least it bumps the thread!

i dont believe they started him at 20,000 either. maybe they are getting
on the popularity of first year stallions bandwagon.
