What mare would help him to become amajor sire in racing circles and continue the Halo line?
Hi Jean,
Personal Ensign and Toussaud?
David Copperfield was only bred 31 times in 2004,so he's not getting alotof support. Hopewell hasn't done the best job of promoting their sires and it's not likely that he'll get any bigger slice of their mare base than he got last year.
David Copperfield will have to do it mostly on his own.
Regards,
Pete

He is a GORGEOUS horse though and has a good temper (unlike other halos have had). The people in the office were nice enough but I agree, I hardly ever see any advertising for their horses, in fact I was surprised when I saw some of the horses there, i didn't KNOW they were there. The workers could have been more welcoming though, they were obviously in a hurry to get home and we only got to see 4 horses out, they had no idea if we were fans or fans with MARES and MONEY. If I had to choose from the farms I have been too I'd pick Airdrie or Winstar stallions, all things being equal... But on the other hand these horses are nice and deserve a chance!
