Just curious if you folks would give me your opinions on these boys as stallion prospects.
In your opinion, which one looks to have the most "promise" as a sire? (None have any foals yet.)

I've seen worse horses than Kid place in G1s ... especially in California where MOST G1s have a hard time getting more than 5 entries. There were 6 that day ... Toccet, Kafwain, Domestic Dispute and I forget the other two. On top of that, Kid only got 3rd because Kafwain was DQ'd and placed 4th. DD wasn't much as a 2yo (much better at 4) so Kafwain and Toccett were pretty much the only real quality in the race that day.
Basically, if not for a fortuitous DQ, the colt wouldn't even be stakes placed. My records don't even show him attempting stakes company again, what does THAT tell you? How about the fact that it was nearly 22 months between the time he broke his maiden and his next win (at $8k Claimer NW2L)?
I've got his entire career here at my finger tips. The colt had a modicum of ability as a 2yo, but other than the HP Futurity (where he placed on luck, not ability), he never really developed. His 2yo season was his best (made $89k). He had 4 starts at 3 and finished last in 2, 6th in one and 3rd in the other. He made 7 starts last year and the ONLY level he was able to win at was the $8k claimer.
He has little family and NO race record to speak of that would indicate sire potential. He should have been gelded at 3.
And please don't get indignant when you ask for an opinion and then get an unfavourable one ... it makes you look petty.

Well, then out of genuine curiosity, why are you asking about them?
edit
BTW, please don't take the above opinion of Kid as a racer to mean I don't "like" the horse ... exact opposite. Actually, I was GLAD to see that record (at the time, anyway) ... it placed him on the short list of Kissin Kris sons I was looking at to pick up as a saddle horse (along with a colt named Mr. Bones who vanished on me).
